• Introduction to information literacy on the “open web”
• Introduction to Google & Wikipedia
• Demonstrate how to use Google & Wikipedia to find resources and to teach essential information literacy skills

By the end of this lesson, Educators will:

• Understand the basic features and functionality of Google and Wikipedia and how to use these tools to locate resources
• Be able to generalize this information for the benefit of students
• Feel more comfortable using Google & Wikipedia to teach essential information literacy skills to students
